Brookvale Bed & Breakfast - Wellingtonbridge

The room was cozy, but it was too hot at night for comfort.

The deluxe double room was gorgeous, exceptionally comfortable bed. Marvellous location close to Ireland, the Brookvale B&B, and a beautiful garden, pubs and restaurants were minute drive from the hotel.

Great and stunning location with a ferry port near the building. Found in the lovely area.

A combination of hits and misses

The homemade treats on arrival and the cozy atmosphere. It reminded me of home, upgraded with the beautiful garden and super comfy room.

The location lacks nearby dining options, requiring some travel to find local eateries.

Staying at Brookvale B&B was a delight. The warm welcome from Pauline set a lovely tone for our visit. The well-designed Garden Room with Shower offered cleanliness and great amenities. Breakfast was really good, with fresh fruit, delicious pancakes, homemade brown bread, and an inviting atmosphere to start the day. I loved being able to relax in the beautiful garden while enjoying afternoon tea. The room got a bit warm at night, challenging to sleep comfortably. I also wished for a bit more ventilation. Despite that, the thoughtful touches and overall comfort were nice.

Delicious homemade breakfast with varied options.

Unfortunately, the room temperature was quite uncomfortable due to inadequate ventilation, particularly during the hot nights. The only fan available was located in the bathroom, which did little to alleviate the heat. This.

Charming retreat to unwind in a beautifully maintained garden adorned with good vintage decor and really good amenities for a peaceful escape.

We did experience a bit of discomfort with the heat at night, challenging for some of us to sleep well.

Just an appropriate option for a brief retreat in Wellingtonbridge with reasonable value. The warm hospitality of the hosts made me feel right at home, especially when they catered to my dietary needs at breakfast. Bring your own fan if you struggle with heat at night!

Wonderful Stay with Really good Breakfast

We enjoyed a good stay with very nice hospitality. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a full Irish breakfast and pancakes with bacon. The room was cozy, with thoughtful amenities provided, including toiletries and a well-lit mirror for makeup. Ideal location for local attractions, don't miss the nearby pub for dinner!

Had a lovely quick stay where Pauline's homemade banana bread and the comfy tea and coffee setup really impressed me. The cozy garden area and relaxing sitting room were perfect for unwinding after the wedding festivities. I wish the bathroom had a bit more lighting, but it didn’t take away from the overall wonderful experience! 😊
